You can now download the programme for the Graded Gala on Sat 21st Nov 2009 at Wymondham (copies will still be available at the gala).

The Graded gala is open to all members of the club (including learn-to-swim), and is an ideal opportunity for those swimmers who have never competed in a gala before.

Rules and further details are as follows:

• This gala is open to fully paid up members who are first claim swimmers for NSSC
• No swimmer who is over 10 years old on the date of the gala can enter any event in which they have officially recorded a time faster than the cut-off entry time
• Swimmers do not have to dive in off the blocks, they may start in the water if they wish to
  
• Teachers and coaches can be with the children on poolside
• Spectators will be admitted approximately 15 minutes before the start time for an entry fee (children under 16 free). Please note there is no entry for spectators via the changing rooms

• Medals are awarded to all first, second and third places (to keep)
• Cygnet Shield will be awarded to best overall swimmer in the 8&Under Age Group
• Harmer Trophy will be awarded to the best overall swimmer in the 9 & 10yr Age Group
• Haig Trophy will be awarded to the best overall swimmer in the 11 & 12yr Age Group
• Sid Day Trophy will be awarded to the best overall swimmer in the 13&Over Age Group
• Shield & Trophies may be kept until the next Graded Gala
