The Learn to Swim fees for the September Term will not increase.
You may have seen some newspaper articles about the cost of hiring school facilities, including swimming pools being increased significantly.
Whilst we now know that the standard charge will be far higher than the current charge we also know that the actual charge at a school will depend on a number of factors. As schools have now closed for the summer break we have not been able to discuss our situation with them in enough detail to be able to identify the new charges.
As a Club whose sole purpose is to serve its members the Management Committee felt that it would not be right to increase fees in these circumstances.
As soon as we know the school pool charges we will let you know what the fees will be for January 2011. When we set our fees we look to keep things simple for everyone. Some pools are more expensive than others, weekend pool hire is more expensive than weekdays. Some school terms are longer than others. We average all this out so that you only need to think about location and time when looking for the best lessons for your children. |
