We had an excellent gala on Sat 26th June at the Eastern Junior League Final at Cambridge, finishing in FIFTH place overall. Everyone in the team swum superbly, with brilliant results across the board. Getting four 1st places, and four 2nd places was excellent, but just as significant were third, fourth, fifth, and sixth places with some great PB's. It was a great team performance - showing that we can compete against the top clubs in the region.
Full results were: UEA City of Norwich: 228, City of Peterborough: 180, Lowestoft & Oulten Broad: 173, City of Cambridge: 166, Norwich Swan 141, West Suffolk 130

Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th April saw a group of Norwich Swan swimmers at the Newmarket Open Meet. They managed an impressive haul if top-six places - 47 in total, and 32 medals (top-three) - pretty good considering that's out of 53 swims!

Both our Norfolk Junior League teams swum excellently at the weekend in the final Junior league galas at Wymondham & Thetford. The team at Wymondham finished 3rd behind the two UEA City of Norwich Teams, securing a 3rd place overall in the league, and second best club in Norfolk. The team at Thetford came 5th, which gave them enough points to end up 10th overall in the league.
We only need to look back 5 years to 2006 when our team came 10th to see the improvement now that we have two teams in the top-10 in Norfolk - the first time that has happened in at least the last 15 years (we have results back to 1995).
Well done to all swimmers who swum for the club!
